Minuted is built to keep your meetings private. Everything happens on your iPhone. There is no Minuted account, no Minuted server, and your recordings, transcripts, and summaries are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Minuted (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an iOS application that records in-person meetings and produces transcripts and summaries entirely on your device. This policy explains how the app handles information.
We do not collect any information. Minuted has no backend servers and no user accounts. We never receive your audio, transcripts, summaries, calendar data, or any identifiers. Because nothing is sent to us, there is no Minuted-held copy of your data to access, share, or lose.
The app’s Apple App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
To do its job, the app works with the following data locally on your iPhone. This data is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us:
Transcription, speaker separation, and summarization all run on your device using Apple’s on-device technologies, including Apple’s Speech framework, Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, and an on-device speaker-diarization model. No audio or text is sent to Apple’s servers, to us, or to any third party for this processing.
You can grant or revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Revoking a permission disables the related feature but does not delete anything already stored on your device.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription; we never receive your payment details or financial information. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Anything you share — for example a follow-up email or an exported summary — is shared only when you choose to, using your iPhone’s standard share options (such as Mail). At that point the content is handled by whichever app or service you select, under that service’s own terms. Minuted does not share your data on its own.
Your meetings and their data live on your device for as long as you keep them. Deleting a meeting in the app removes that meeting’s audio, transcript, and summary. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for you to request, export, or delete from us.
Minuted is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly process data from children. As the app collects no data, no such data is sent to us in any case.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
